findingbeautiful:

Calanggaman Island, off the coast of Villaba, Leyte, a small town 45 mins to an hour’s drive away from Ormoc City.
This is the perfect destination if you want the ultimate island experience. There’s no clean drinking and bathing water, no electricity, no convenience store. Everything is done the primitive way, from maintaining (im)proper hygiene (aka no showering), to cooking grilled all the way, to depending on the moon and stars for light.
Though a pretty resort would make it an ideal get-away, you half wish it stays the same because it’s a very blessed island. It extends to a sandbar that’s probably half kilometer long and all over, it’s white sands and crystal clear waters. We have seen what development does to many white sanded beaches. I’m also thankful it’s far (the boat ride from the mainland is 45-60 mins long) because I sure don’t want people treating it the way they are treating Canigao.
The island’s best gift however is an amazing surprise (sorry to break it to you guys) — views of the sunset and sunrise, from the same spot! Isn’t that amazing? Where else can you enjoy that?

i can’t believe i missed this.
i don’t own my time anymore. i have traded it for a dream.. an old dream i thought i had forgotten. a battle i thought i had lost. i remember telling glenn that i was scared. scared and frightened still, because it is everything i ever wanted, the only thing i’d gladly give up my life for. now it’s in front of me. just sitting there. inches away from my shaken fingers. once i take it, embrace it, and breathe through it, there’ll no turning back. there’ll be nothing to hate anymore. nothing to be bitter about. i’m finally going to love.
i can’t believe i missed this
but there’s something more magical coming..
